RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY

RETURNS AND REFUNDS:

Returns and refunds are handled on a case to case basis. 

All goods and products are inspected by the artist before sending off a parcel – to ensure that there are no manufacturing faults, that you will be receiving the correct product and size. As orders are manufactured to order, I can unfortunately not accept any returns or issue refunds unless you receive a faulty (damaged) or incorrect product.

All products are made to order and original art will be classified as “second hand” once it leaves my studio; therefore I can unfortunately not make any “I have changed my mind” exchanges or refunds.

 

Faulty goods

 

Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged.

Personally inspect packaging on delivery and note any damage on the receiving ticket before signing for it. If you have not opened the packages please write the words “Parcel damaged – contents not checked” next to your name on the waybill.

Please report any shortages or damages within 24 hours from the time of receiving your merchandise in writing via e-mail. Please explain the problem or defect and include photographs of the damage/fault for me to best assist you. 

Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order if your item has been delivered in a faulty state. Queries placed outside of this timeframe may not qualify for a refund. If we do receive notification within this time frame (24 hours), we will process an exchange for any faulty item received. 

Replacements can only be made once we have determined that there was a manufacturer defect or damage caused during transit.

If you do receive a faulty item, we will arrange a pick up of this item free of charge and arrange for a replacement to be sent or a refund to be processed. If the pick up is agreed and you, the customer is not at the premises when the courier arrives, you will be charged an R150 unavailability charge as well as the price of the pick up which can be anything between R150 and R300. Any future pick up’s will be at the customer’s cost.

 

All custom made orders are made especially for you and are therefore final sales. We cannot accept returns, cancellations or exchanges on custom orders unless there is a manufacturing flaw.

 

Incorrect Items Received

 

If the artist has slipped up and has sent you an incorrect item, e.g. an incorrect design or size – we would gladly replace the item for you with the correct item or size.

Please report any incorrect orders within 3 days from the time of receiving your merchandise in writing via e-mail. Please include photographs of the incorrect items for me to best assist you. Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.

All items must be returned in the condition that you received them, with all tags still attached and box packaging included where applicable. The item must be unassembled and unused and in sellable condition. Products will first be assessed to assure it’s in the same condition as was before being sent to you.

If you did receive an incorrect item, we will arrange a pick up of this item free of charge and arrange for a replacement to be sent to you as soon as possible.

COLOUR & DESIGN DISCLAIMER

 

While I do my best to make sure the photos on this website are as accurate as possible, viewing them on an electronic display can not compare to seeing the works in person. 

Actual colours may vary. This is since every computer monitor, phone or tablet screen has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. 

I cannot guarantee that the colour you see accurately portrays the true colour of the product. Colours on website photos and digital mockups might differ from the actual printed product as screen resolutions affect how the colours appear on different monitors and mobile devices. Different types of fabrics also have a different effect on how the colours print. The placement of the design will vary slightly between the different sized cushions and blankets too. No returns will be made where colours on finished products or printed fabric are not exactly the same as on our website. Returns excepted for faulty products or incorrect orders (e.g. incorrect size or design received) only.

Please check the size of the painting before placing your order.

HOW TO RETURN A FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEM?

 

Please read these instructions on how to return an item:

  1. Please pack the item including all packaging you received the item with (bubble wrap, carton, etc..)
  2. We will send our courier to collect the item from you on a date which is prior arranged and confirmed to be suitable for you.

You will receive an email confirming that we have received your return and that you have been credited or exchanged. Please allow between 3 and 10 working days for your bank to complete the transaction, depending on their processing time. Please allow 10 to 15 working days for the replacement product to be delivered.

CANVAS PRINTS AND DECOR PRODUCTS are manufactured to order. The lead time is 10 to 15 working days from receipt of payment for all Canvas Prints, Decor Products and Greeting Cards.
