Online Coloured Pencil, Graphite Pencil and Watercolour Art Classes & Workshops

Please note that these are not your typical art classes that teach you how to draw. These classes specialize in teaching you how to use watercolour or graphite and coloured pencils as an art medium. There are two different options available: Classes or Workshops.

You will learn about the various art materials used, e.g. paper, paint, pencils, etc. to achieve the best results. You will learn how to use the mediums and various techniques. These classes are tailored to each person individually; to meet you at the level you are at, whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced user of one of these mediums.

Projects will be tailored to each student’s level of experience and what they want to achieve. I will be recommending projects based on the student’s level OR we can work on projects that a student wants to complete. The classes are suitable for children 14 years and older or adults of any age.

Art Supplies:

Students must purchase their own art supplies. You will receive a list of art supplies that you can purchase from Artsavingsclub. We will tailor the supplies based on your level of experience, budget and the subject matter you are interested in, e.g. if you are interested in painting landscapes, your colour palette will be different from somebody who wants to paint portraits.

A Few T&C’s:

• The time frame will not be adjusted for latecomers. If you are late for your session, your class will be shortened accordingly, with no exceptions.
• Inclusive workshop lessons must be used within 4 to 6 weeks.
• We will decide on a day and time slot for your lessons – ideally on the same day and time every week. 
• If you have to reschedule, at least 48 hours’ notice must be given, or you will forfeit that lesson. Saturday workshop spots cannot be rescheduled.
• I usually have a waiting list in place with limited availability. Workshops: A R1000 deposit is required to reserve your spot on the waiting list. The balance is due one week before the first workshop class commences. The workshop fee is payable in advance, with no exceptions. Classes: The class fee is payable in advance to secure your spot, with no exceptions. 
• No refunds will be given if you do not complete all 4 workshop lessons or miss a class.
• If students want to continue with workshop classes after using the 4 inclusive classes, they can sign up for another workshop, including 4 more classes, to continue with their art journey. Art classes will renew on a month-to-month basis; one month’s notice should be given if you wish to end the classes.
• Students can start with workshops at any time. 
• Art Classes will start at the beginning of every new month
